This was another school project where we had to create an event and some branded items for it. I made up a fake music festival benefiting Austin Pets Alive! This is the festival kit that someone who bought passes would receive in the mail. From the top, clockwise, is the square envelope, the festival passes, a sticker sheet, and the fold out insert that would house the passes and sticker sheet, along with information about the festival. Finally, there is a poster that would be given out to festival goers at the event.
An advanced typography project where we had to create a call-to-action poster where typography was the main focus. I chose two wildly different styles to play with. The left is heavily influenced by Memphis Style, while the right is more of a modern take on a Victorian aesthetic.
This is work I did for my Computer Illustration II class. The top four are a series based on Edgar Allen Poe's "The Bells." The bottom left is an illustrated poster meant to advertise travel to Mars. The bottom right is an advertisement for the RSC's performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
This is another school-based project. However, it was for a real-world event which happens annually in Austin. We were charged with taking existing branding and updated it for new merchandise and web-based advertising for a virtual polka festival. One of my favorite things is exploring different color-way possibilities within one design. Here I've taken the existing mascot and logo and created some stickers and posters for the event.
